I believe stories matter. For more than a decade, I've worked to tell compelling, human stories that shed light on some of the biggest science and policy issues of our time, from climate change to energy access. I've launched podcasts for the federal government, profiled undersea explorers and tweeted as the secretary of energy. Let's talk.

About Me
I'm a California native who traded the West Coast for Washington, D.C. in 2006. Since then, I've worked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Department of Energy as a communicator. I have degrees in biology and science writing from UC Santa Barbara and Johns Hopkins University. I've played soccer every week since I was 10 years old. I'm Arsenal 'til I die.
